BAM Construction win new Sutton Coldfield College project

BAM has written to scaffolding contractors informing them that it believes that membership of the NASC represents best practice and backing the NASC’s approach to health and safety.
The winners received their award from BBC’s Fiona Bruce at London’s Grosvenor Hotel.
The development will create the new headquarters for Severn Trent from mid 2010.
The value of the first and second phase contract is approximately £15million.
The work involves demolition of college buildings at Hempstead Road and the construction of a three- and four-storey concrete-framed building.
Any medal winners among them will have to wait until all is revealed at a ceremony on 29 October.
The two brand new buildings will be the only new buildings developed in West Swindon this year after a record year in the uptake of office space in 2007.
Based at BAM’s offices in Glasgow, Richard joins the development team to head up all retail development in the UK.
