BAM FM provide a variety of services for clients across the UK. We tailor these to the exact requirements and budgets of our customers and deliver it in accordance with relevant health and safety, environmental and quality standards.
We provide routine, daily, periodical and responsive cleaning services on a national scale, directly employing 400 cleaning operatives, supervisors and contract support staff.
Using our regional and national supply chain partners we also provide window cleaning, washroom services, feminine hygiene services and entrance matting.
Our cleaning operatives have achieved a ‘Licence to Practice’ through the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) and we have in-house trainers to continually increase this number.
Our directly employed catering teams currently provide 12,000 meals a day to schools, colleges and commercial locations throughout the UK. Our passion is supplying meals that offer great value for money, as well as being tasty, healthy and nutritious. We work with Food for Life and the School Food Plan, to ensure that nutritional standards, food additives and labelling requirements are met. In 2017, the Lead Association for Catering in Education (LACA) West Midlands Regional Awards recognised BAM FM as ‘Catering Business of the Year’.
We directly employ caretaking, portering and premises managers to support customers across the UK. Where full time or permanent roles are not required we can also provide mobile handyman and visiting caretaker services.
BAM FM is able to train caretaking, portering and premises managers to undertake a number of compliance checks, tests and other tasks to help customers reduce the cost of outsourcing minor maintenance activities.
BAM FM delivers a comprehensive asset management service using a systematic process to operate, maintain and upgrade or replace building and equipment assets. Our approach can be adapted to meet our customers’ specific risk profiles and asset performance requirements.
BAM FM is a leader in the adoption of digital asset management. We use BIM (Building Information Management) processes to deliver projects and have achieved the BSI Kitemark for our digital asset management processes under PAS1192-3.
We tailor our planned and reactive maintenance services to meet our customer’s exact requirements and budgets. All of our services are delivered in accordance with manufacturers’ requirements, HVAC SFG20 and legislative requirements. Our dedicated team of directly employed engineers cover electrical, mechanical, plumbing, combustion, refrigeration, controls and other specialist disciplines.
Energy monitoring and audits should be conducted from time to time to track the performance of a facility. Our Energy Managers are experienced in conducting energy audits to meet [EED guidelines] and provide practical advice and recommendations to our customers.
BAM FM and BAM Energy use energy data collection software to gather, record and analyse energy and water consumption to enable us to benchmark performance and make improvements.
General grounds maintenance and hard and soft landscaping services, as well as seasonal maintenance: gritting, snow clearing, leaf clearing.
Building fabric maintenance covers every aspect of your building that is not related to electrical or mechanical services.
Regular building fabric maintenance, including glazing, painting and decorating, is essential for maintaining your building’s appearance and functionality. It prevents minor building defects, which can lead to more serious damage and reduces health and safety risks such as trip or fall hazards.
BAM FM undertakes minor works and capital project works via existing maintenance and service contracts or as a standalone project. Our team offers technical advice and project delivery for small projects through to more complex and challenging works.
Where necessary we are able to draw on the expertise of from across BAM (construction, design and plant) to meet customer needs and budget. We are also able to provide a single point of contact for small works, refurbishment and plant replacements.
BAM FM provides a variety of security services including alarm monitoring, key holding, incident planning and building and grounds surveys. We also supply SIA approved guards and undertake DBS checks.
