BAM Construction has retained its place on Manchester Airport Group’s (MAG) £700 million Major Capital Works Framework, for use by MAG entities including Manchester Airport, East Midlands Airport and Stansted Airport.

BAM has been reappointed to the framework having delivered several successful high-profile building and infrastructure projects under MAG’s previous capital delivery programme framework.

The five-year Framework includes an option to extend to a maximum of eight years in single year increments and covers civils construction works, new build construction works and refurbishment works.

The framework is divided into 12 Lots based on value band and location, with BAM Construction securing places on all four of the Lots for which it tendered.

  • Lot 2C – New Build and Fit-Out (North) for works valued greater than £10 million
  • Lot 2D – New Build and Fit-Out (South) for works valued greater than £10 million
  • Lot 3C – Refurbishment (North) for works valued greater than £10 million
  • Lot 3D – Refurbishment (South) for works valued greater than £10 million

‘We are delighted to have retained our place on this exciting framework and we look forward to continuing our work on behalf of Manchester Airport Group for another five years. BAM delivered a diverse range of aviation schemes under the previous capital works framework and the expertise, collaborative approach and versatility of our regional teams will ensure that we will continue to partner effectively with MAG across its geographical footprint.’

'Underlining our commitment to become a net positive company, we will look to support the development and achievement of MAG’s sustainability goals, focusing on key areas such as the in-use performance of buildings that can lower energy and operating costs, delivering cost-effective outcomes over the lifecycle of the building.'
