The BAM site hoardings surrounding the James Potter construction site at Salford Royal are now decorated with some fantastic artwork.

The striking images were drawn by the children, relatives or family friends of staff members as part of our competition, which asked entrants to either draw pictures of healthcare professionals at work or of the new centre being built. Every child who entered the competition won a prize and the overall winner was Lily. A big congratulations to her and to everyone who entered.

“We wanted to get the children of NHS staff members involved in the construction of the new James Potter building, as it’s possible that some of their relatives might work there in the future” says Stuart Loftus, Construction Manager on the project “We were thrilled with the entries and seeing them on hoardings every day provides the team with an extra bit of motivation as we go about our work. It’s also great to see such interest in what we are doing from the children of Salford Royal’s staff.”

If you live locally the hoardings will be around the site until the scheme completes so there is still time to view all the amazing entries.

Salford Royal is part of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. This major new development on Salford Royal’s site will complete in the summer of 2023.
