BAM UK and Ireland Leadership Update
The Executive Board of Royal BAM Group today announces that, following a career of over 30 years, including four and a half years leading the Ireland businesses, Alasdair Henderson, Executive Director, Ireland, will leave the business to pursue new professional opportunities. Alasdair will leave the business on 31 December 2026.
Alasdair joined BAM in 1996 as a graduate engineer in the Ritchies Ground Engineering Division and since then has served in a variety of operational and business leadership roles across BAM, including Divisional Director of BAM Ritchies, People & Culture Director at BAM Nuttall and Global Director of HR Business Partnering in the former Civil business line.
A recruitment process is underway to identify his replacement and BAM will announce news of his successor in due course.
On an interim basis, while a full recruitment process is carried out, John Wilkinson, COO, BAM UK & Ireland, will take over the day to day management of the Ireland business.
