Managing Director - Properties 
John joined BAM Properties 16 years ago as managing director to expand the company's commercial property development activities throughout the UK. With experience totalling 36 years in the property and construction industry, he has undertaken all aspects of commercial property development from site identification through land acquisition, planning and procurement, leasing and investment sale.
Gerry joined Bam Properties in 1997 and is responsible for the delivery of projects. He has been involved in many pre-let and speculative developments throughout the UK. Gerry forms the link between BAM Properties Development Directors, BAM Construction, the design team and the occupier. Gerry’s responsibility on these projects is to appoint appropriate design teams and specialist consultants to design the development to ensure the commercial returns match the company’s aspirations. He ensures that all statutory consents are obtained on satisfactory terms, statutory undertakings are dealt with and adjoining owner issues resolved. He oversees the management of the construction process to meet planned dates and, where appropriate, ensures the successful integration of the occupiers’ requirements into the scheme.
Before joining BAM, he worked in a private surveying practice where he was responsible for project management services.
Development Director - South East 
Clwyd joined BAM Properties in 1994. He has an honours degree in valuation and estate management and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
He is a divisional director of BAM Properties and is responsible for property development activities in London, the South East and the East of England and has completed a number of successful commercial developments in the region. He also oversees the management of the BAM Group Occupational Property portfolio.
Development Director - West 
After beginning his career with BAM Properties’ London office in 1998, Martin moved to Bristol in 2001 to take up responsibility for sourcing and implementing commercial development activities in South Wales and the South West. Major developments that Martin has been involved with include Tower Wharf and Hempton Court (Aztec West) in Bristol and Lydiard Fields Business Park in Swindon.
Martin previously worked for Arlington Securities Plc, the UK’s leading business park developer. He had direct responsibility for major developments in Southampton and Bracknell amongst others.
Development Director – Scotland and North of England 
Michael acts as BAM Properties’ main interface with the Scottish and North of England commercial property market. His responsibilities include identifying development projects, office markets, securing planning, instructing project managers, marketing and promoting of the projects, lettings and sales. In his first 18 months with BAM he established an office development pipeline in excess of £60m and was awarded ‘Newcomer of the Year’ at Property Week’s Scottish Property Awards 2007.
Prior to joining BAM Properties in 2006, Michael worked as a consultant for some ten years with DTZ Debenham Tie Leung’s Glasgow office, where he specialised in the commercial sector, providing advice to developers, occupiers and investors. During this period he was involved with many of the major office redevelopment projects in Glasgow.
Richard Buxton joined BAM Properties as Retail Director in 2008.
Based at BAM’s offices in Glasgow, Richard also spends time in London and around the country. He heads up BAM’s retail development in the UK. BAM develops new build retail opportunities, or by adding value through re-engineering the existing space, major refurbishment, extension and redevelopment.
Richard joined the company from Schroders where he was a Fund Manager following posts at Prudential Property Investment Managers and Standard Life Investments. He has a masters degree in Land Economy from Aberdeen University and is a qualified surveyor.
