What we do

Facilities managementOur FM teams believe that a well-managed working environment makes people happier in their work and, consequently, more productive. By delivering the very best services we can, we're investing in the success of our occupiers.

We provide all the traditional FM services: cleaning, catering, security and building maintenance, and some less traditional ones, such as teams of leisure attendants and lifeguards. And then we go the extra mile by giving advice on facility-related legislative issues, evaluation and benchmarking.

Delivering service

Originally established to support PFI projects, BAM FM has also become active in non-PFI sectors.

We deliver as many of the facilities management services as possible through our in-house resources. This means that we can directly manage the services and the operations to achieve consistently high levels of quality across our entire project portfolio.

Multidisciplinary teams

Facilities managementOur BAM FM personnel are drawn from a variety of backgrounds. Each multidisciplinary team has the ability to provide customers with a comprehensive response to their specific needs.

Soft FM services are delivered entirely using in–house, directly employed personnel. Hard FM services are designed and managed by in–house technical staff supported by directly employed staff for frontline maintenance activities. If necessary, subcontractors augment services to address specialist requirements.

We aim to integrate these two service disciplines to offer a clean, well–maintained building that creates a safe working environment for all its users.

We are, after all, a people company. We know that when we invest in the success of our personnel, we're also investing in the success of BAM FM.

Director

David Leishman

Director, BAM FM

David LeishmanDavid was appointed as Director of BAM FM in January 2010. He was previously Commercial Director for BAM Construction in Scotland, having joined the company in 1982 as a quantity surveyor. He has over 34 years experience in the construction industry.

David is responsible for the development and delivery of BAM's operational FM solutions, via a 650-strong nationwide team.
