In support of this year’s World Environment Day theme, BAM’s Biodiversity photographic competition received a high level of entries from young people throughout the country.

The winning photograph, as voted for by 591 BAM employees, was taken by 14-year-old Fraser Brown from Williamwood High School in Glasgow.

‘We loved this photograph,’ said Chris Jones, BAM’s Environmental Advisor. ‘The composition is very good and the picture has captured the tree squirrel in its most natural habitat.’

Entitled ‘What are you looking at?’, the winning photograph was taken by Fraser as part of a nature study in Rouken Glen Park as part of the ASDAN bronze award (lifeskills course).

Fraser wins £250 of photographic vouchers.
