Tips for interview success

Make your application stand out

  • Ensure your CV is well–organised, logical and easily understandable. List your experience, education and qualifications in chronological order.
  • Include everything that's relevant but keep it brief.
  • Take some time to think about your accomplishments, including volunteer activities, jobs, projects, assignments, travel and team activities. Identify personal qualities they brought out in you.
  • Make sure your CV is up to date.
  • Do a final check of your CV for spelling mistakes and errors.
  • Take time out to consider your responses on the application form – especially why you want to build a career in construction and why BAM is your employer of choice.
  • Spell check again!
