Sunday Times 100 Best companies to work for

BAM Construct UK has been ranked 80 on the list of Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For.

In 2008, BAM Construct UK, achieved a ‘first class’ one-star rating in the Sunday Times Best Companies’ survey. In 2009, we made it on to the list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For in the mid-sized category.

Best Companies uses a staff survey and company questionnaire to assess the companies applying for accreditation and for the best companies list.

Best Companies commented on our 2011 results as follows: ‘The company offers staff competitive salaries, good training and career opportunities. Employees say they would not leave tomorrow even if they were offered another job (77% ranking it in the top 25).’

Our Chief Executive, Graham Cash, says: ‘the quality of our people determines the quality that BAM delivers. In short, great people make great buildings. It’s good to know that our employees think BAM does business responsibly and is a good place to work, especially in the current challenging market.’

Gaining a place on the 100 Best Companies to Work For list enables us to benchmark our performance against UK industry as a whole. Our aspiration now is to stay there indefinitely and improve our ranking with each passing year.
