Graham Cash, BA, BArch, RIBA

Graham's career with BAM began in 1986 and just five years later he was appointed director of BAM Design. In 1997, he became director of BAM Construction in the South East region.

In 2007, Graham was appointed a member of the board of BAM Construct UK. He was appointed Chief Executive in April 2010 and oversees major corporate functions including, finance, legal, human resources, communications and construction activity in Scotland.

Graham has a first class honors degree in architecture and has designed many prestigious buildings including the Japanese Embassy in London and a number of Crown Courts. He is a strong advocate of Building Information Modelling.

Richard Bailey, MSc, MCIOB

Richard began work with the company in 1977. He became director of BAM Construction in the Western region in 1995 and, joined the board of BAM Construct UK in 2007.

In 2010, Richard was appointed Managing Director of the BAM Construction with overall responsibility for managing and developing its operations in England and Wales.

During his early career, Richard worked extensively on construction project with complex and challenging demands and encompassing all forms of contracts both on new-build and refurbishment sites. He is responsible for Sustainability at board level as well as having a passion for health and safety, economic, social and environmental sustainability in society generally.

John Burke, FRICS

John joined BAM Properties 16 years ago as managing director to expand the company's commercial property development activities throughout the UK. With experience totalling 36 years in the property and construction industry, he has undertaken all aspects of commercial property development from site identification through land acquisition, planning and procurement, leasing and investment sale.

On his appointment to the BAM Construct UK board in 2007, John retained management of BAM Properties and added PPP strategy, supply chain management and learning and development to his portfolio of responsibilities.

As well as being a board member, John is Managing Director of BAM Properties in addition to leading on a range of corporate functions such as PPP strategy, supply chain development, and development of BAM’s people. He takes a keen interest in German language and culture and speaks German fluently.
